Vitality From the Inside Out.
Restored From the Ground Up.

In-office care that goes beyond your diagnosis. We combine root-cause functional medicine with structural correction and movement rehab.

Pain is often a sign of a deeper problem. Structural breakdown rarely happens alone. It’s often the physical result of chronic inflammation, hormone imbalance, or poor nutrition that standard care misses. The goal isn’t just less pain. The goal is full vitality.

Structural Care Informed by Functional Medicine

Rehabilitation guided by root-cause thinking.

New Patient Comprehensive Evaluation

Your most thorough clinical assessment — period.

Your first visit gives us the full picture. We check your structure, nerves, movement, and overall health. Then we connect what you feel in your body to what your biology is actually doing.

What's included:

  • Comprehensive health and injury history
  • Structural and postural assessment
  • Neurological function screening
  • Functional movement evaluation
  • Root-cause hypothesis framework
  • Personalized care plan with clear clinical goals

CCEP-Based Extremity & Structural Care

Precision structural correction. Evidence-based technique.

As a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP), Dr. Bekkum goes beyond the spine. He treats the full body — shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. That full-body view is often what’s missing for people with chronic, recurring pain.

Conditions commonly addressed:

  • Back pain relief — non-surgical, root-cause protocols
  • Neck pain specialist care — cervical and upper thoracic biomechanics
  • Sciatica and herniated disc treatment in Moorhead, MN
  • Soft tissue therapy — myofascial release and trigger point work
  • Natural migraine and headache relief
  • Spinal dysfunction and postural imbalance
  • Shoulder, hip, and knee instability
  • Extremity joint dysfunction and movement restriction
  • Nerve entrapment and peripheral neuropathy presentations
  • Complex multi-joint structural patterns

Functional Rehabilitation

From injury to integrity. From rehab to resilience.

Functional rehab at Integrix Health is not generic physical therapy. It’s a targeted movement program built around your specific needs. Every step is planned to restore full function — not just reduce pain.

What functional rehab includes:

  • Baseline functional movement assessment and strength testing
  • Corrective exercise specialist programming
  • Neuromuscular re-education
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation protocols
  • Physical rehabilitation Moorhead MN — holistic injury recovery
  • Progressive loading protocols
  • Sport and activity-specific functional return

Neurological Evaluation & Neuropathy Management

The nervous system drives everything. We assess it accordingly.

Neurological problems are one of the most overlooked drivers of structural breakdown and poor health. Our in-office evaluation checks nerve function, proprioceptive integrity, and central neurological indicators — connecting structural findings to neurological root causes.

Particularly relevant for:

  • Peripheral neuropathy presentations
  • Balance and coordination deficits
  • Extremity numbness, tingling, or weakness
  • Post-injury neurological residuals
  • Complex pain syndromes with neurological components

Integrated Functional Medicine + Structural Care

Because your spine and your gut are talking to each other.

This is where Integrix Health stands apart. For patients whose structural problems have a deeper cause — chronic inflammation, hormone disruption, or gut issues — we add a functional medicine investigation directly into the structural care plan.

This means your chiropractic/rehab care is informed by your labs, your genetics, and your internal biochemistry. You don't get a structural treatment that ignores your biology. You get a fully integrated plan.

This combined approach is recommended for:

  • Patients with chronic, recurrent structural problems that don't hold their corrections
  • Inflammatory conditions (arthritis, tendinopathy, disc disease)
  • Patients with co-existing gut, hormone, or fatigue complaints alongside structural issues
  • Anyone who has tried standard structural care and plateaued

Your Path to Structural & Systemic Vitality

A systematic, integrated path to structural and systemic vitality.

1

New Patient Consultation & Comprehensive Evaluation

Your first in-office visit is a full clinical assessment — not a rushed intake. Dr. Bekkum evaluates your structure, movement, neurological function, and systemic health picture together. You leave with a clear diagnosis, a root-cause hypothesis, and a specific clinical care plan.

Duration: 60 minutes. You receive: structural assessment findings, preliminary functional medicine considerations, care plan overview.

2

Lab & Genetic Testing (Where Indicated)

For patients where systemic dysfunction is contributing to structural breakdown, functional lab testing is ordered — the same advanced panel available through the telehealth track. This ensures that your structural care is informed by your internal biochemistry from day one.

Labs ordered at or after visit 1. Results reviewed at a dedicated follow-up.

3

Structural Care & Rehabilitation Protocol Begins

Your in-office care plan begins based on your initial assessment findings. Structural corrections, extremity adjustments, and functional rehabilitation exercises are introduced progressively — based on your neurological tolerance and structural response.

Frequency: Typically 2–3x/week in the active phase, transitioning to maintenance.

4

Functional Medicine Integration

Once labs are returned, Dr. Bekkum builds your functional medicine protocol alongside your structural care. Nutrition, supplementation (Fullscript), lifestyle modifications, and gut/hormone interventions are layered in — creating a fully integrated plan where structural and systemic care reinforce each other.

5

Functional Rehabilitation Progression

As your structure stabilizes and systemic function improves, rehabilitation progresses into strength, stability, and functional movement restoration. This phase is designed to rebuild the resilience that prevents re-injury and long-term structural decline.

Goal: Full return to function with structural integrity that holds.

6

Vitality Assessment & Long-Term Optimization

At the conclusion of your active care phase, we conduct a full reassessment — structural, neurological, and functional medicine — and design your long-term vitality maintenance plan. For patients who want ongoing clinical oversight, membership and maintenance options are available.

From structural breakdown and systemic depletion — to structural integrity and full vitality.
